  2. VEX Robotics Challenge • Teams will design their VEX robot to compete in a scaled version the FIRST 2010 game of “Breakaway”

Team Positions – non-FIRST Members • Team Leader • Oversee team • Report to Project Manager • Inventory Control • Maintain accountability for ALL materials • Engineering & Manufacturing • Design/Build robot • Quality Manager • Procedure (rules/guidelines) • Safety • Document Control • Team Minutes • Presentation • Marketing • Team & Robot name • Team spirit • Team give-aways

  4. Spring TLA Teams – Non-FIRST members • Teams • A-Day: 7 groups of 8 & 3 groups of 7 • B-Day: 2 groups of 8 & 2 groups of 7 • Team Roster • Must have name printed with signature and include team position. NO CHANGES to teams • Roster due to Mr. Touchton by Wednesday 3/31 & Thursday 4/1. Students without a team will be assigned a team

Team Positions –FIRST Members • Project Manager • Oversee Team Leaders • Communicate with directors (teachers) • Mentors • Support and advise EMIT teams • Guide ESE students • Production • Build scaled gaming field • Inventory Control • Materials, supplies • Communication • Presentation on FIRST experience

  6. Spring TLA Teams – FIRST members • Submit resume for Project Manager to Ms. Brookins by Wednesday 3/31 • Submit letters of application for team placement to Mr. James by Wednesday 3/31 • Students not applying for specific teams will be placed
