  2. Geographic Location • This is the map of Pakistan and the continent we live on is Asia. The capital is Islamabad.

  3. This is the flag of Pakistan: the white stripe stands for country’s religion, minorities and tolerance. The crescent stands for progress and the star represents light and knowledge. The dark green represents the nation’s Muslim majorities. The official language is URDU.

  4. Holidays and Traditions • The most famous holiday is Independence Day. This holiday is celebrated on August 14.

  5. The other famous holiday is on December 25. This holiday is celebrated because a famous person was born on that day,his name is Quaid-e-Azam. Quaid-e-Azam and Mahatma Gandhi were our leaders who led to the independence and resulotion of Pakistan and India.

  6. Famous landmarks • Badshahi Mosque This mosque was built in 1674 it is the largest mosque in Lahore, Pakistan

  7. Faisal Mosque • This mosque was made on 1966. People from all over the world come to visit. This mosque is in Pakistan, Islamabad.

  9. TRADITIONAL FOOD Firni Khas Mix (Ground Rice Pudding) • Ingredients • Sugar • processed rice • pistachio • coconut • (cardamoms and Kewra (Pine Essence) Cardamoms Sugar Coconut Processed Rice Pistachio

  10. Instructions: Add Laziza Firni Khas Mix (one bag) to 1 litre of milk and cook on a medium heat for 12 to 18 minutes until the mixture becomes very thick, stirring constantly. Serve cold.
