  3. The structure and tasks of Technical department Technical Department of “ODESEM” Ltd is engaged in development of design, installation, maintenance of technical means of security (TMOS). During this time the company has received a lot of experience … ODESEM Ltd has all supplementary technical materials qualified and licensed specialists with the relevant technical training and huge working experience. Specialists of ODESEM Ltd are professionals at executing of its work and successfully applying their knowledge to practice. The company conducts continuous professional trainings. This presentation is aimed to show you the procedure of our tasks execution.

  4. Design of physical security and obtaining of state inspection for those projects More than 5 years “ODESEM” Ltd cooperates with American partner – Pacific Northwest National Laboratory (PNNL) of Battelle Institute under aegis of Ministry of Energy of the USA conducting upgrade of physical security systems on the objects of Ukraine that have Radiation Sources.

During this time,by joint efforts we have conducted design • with achievement of state inspection of each project and as • well as installation of physical protection at facilities • Sevastopol National Institute of Nuclear Energy and Industry; • Dnepropetrovsk, Donetsk, Lviv, Kharkiv State Interregional Special Plants of State Corporation "Ukrainian State Association" Radon "; • Vinnytsia, Zhytomyr, Zakarpattia, Lviv, Poltava, Sevastopol, Sumy, Kharkiv oncology centers, dispensaries; • Kyiv center of bone marrow transplantation; • Ukrainian Children's Specialized Hospital of Maternity and Childhood "OKHMATDET"; • Kyiv Institute of Experimental Pathology, Oncology and Radiobiology. R.E. Kavetsky; • Kyiv National Cancer Institute; • Liptsevskaya scientific experimental base of Kharkov National Scientific Centre "Institute of Metrology"; • Donetsk State Enterprise "Specialized Center" Ugleizotop "; • Krasnoperekopsk PJSC "Brom"; • The State Nuclear Regulatory Committee of Ukraine.   13. Features of the equipment depending on the specific nature of objects Radiation-dangerous facilities are located in the cities (mainly hospitals, with its facilities with the sources of ionizing radiation), and outside the settlements (in the forest, in a field outside of the city ...). This corrects the specificity of the equipment work and its installation. For example, in a forest surveillance should be set in the way to cover as much space as possible and leave as little as possible "dead" spots. In the hospitals the installation of the equipment must be conducted without interference with patient care, (at not working hours, weekends, etc.). Our Company has taken into account all this information at installation of physical security systems.

  14. Development of procedures on the implementation and operation of the site security systems The Contractor (ODESEM Ltd), in cooperation with the site, shall develop procedures on the implementation and operation of the site security systems. The written procedures for the operator shall ensure the effective function, operation, testing and maintenance, and related requirements of each installed security device; and shall be covered in the related written training material, operations manual and/or similar material. Procedures should be no longer than three (3) pages. The procedures shall cover the following topics at a minimum:

Operationofsitesecurityequipmenttoincludeintrusiondetectionsystem, CCTV system, fixedandmobileduressbuttons, keypads. • Staffresponsibilitiesinimplementingthesitesecurityprocedures. • Site procedures for the operation of the systems. • Adherence to access control procedures. • Key and lock accountability, control, and procedures. • Performance testing procedures to ensure the correct • operation of the security systems. • Coordination with response force and actions for the staff to • take in the event of a security incident.

  16. TRAININGThe Contractor (ODESEM Ltd) shall conduct training on the implementation and operation of the site security procedures. The training classes shall cover the following topics at a minimum: • Operationofsitesecurityequipmenttoincludeintrusiondetectionsystem, CCTV system, fixedandmobileduressbuttons, keypads • Staff responsibilities in implementing the site security program. • Site procedures for the operation and testing and operator level maintenance of the systems • Adherencetoaccesscontrol, keyandlockaccountability, control, andprocedures • Performancetestingprocedurestoensurethecorrectoperationofthesecuritysystems • Coordinationwithresponseforceandactionsforthestafftotakeintheeventof a securityincident
