  1. SJ • CUP/GLASS/BOTTLE: The C-hand classifier moves upward off the palm of the flat hand. • MAGAZINE: The right G-hand slides down the outside edge of the open hand with a repeated motion. • NEWSPAPER: The thumb and forefinger of the G-hand come together on the palm of the open left palm. • TOUCH: The touch finger taps on the back of the opposite hand • SURE: The forefinger starts at the chin and moves up and out.

BREAK: Both S-hands begin together and then seperate in a breaking motion. • SHELF: Both B-hands with palms facing downward move away from each other. • IMPORTANT: Both F-hands begin together, then move apart and make a half circle up and come back together. • OTHER, ANOTHER: The A-hand makes an arcing motion off to the right • REVIEW: The R-hand moves back towards the body with the thumb twisting on the palm

ANNOUNCE: The index fingers of both hands begin at the mouth and make an arching motion outward. • FULL: The open hand, palm down moves across the thumb side of the S-hand • EMPTY: The middle finger slides down the back of the opposite hand. • INVITE, WELCOME: The flat hand, palm up comes toward the body • COPY: The bottom AND hand opens and closes on the palm of the opposite hand

  4. FLOWER: One closed AND hand moves from one side of the nose to the other. • COLLECT, gather: One hand makes a sweeping motion across the opposite arm • ALSO: Move the right Y- handshape hand back and forth in front of the body • TROUBLE: Both hands with the bent V-hands. The hand shapes strike against each other as the hands move up and down. • FEED: One hand begins at the mouth and then moves forward along with the opposite hand.

  5. TAKE-FROM: One hand reaches out and grabs something and is pulled back. • PUT-ON-PAPER, write down: The right O-hand touches the left palm, then in a bouncing movement changes to a flat hand as it comes back down on the palm • REMIND: The thumb of the A-hand makes a twisting motion at the forehead
