Why look at policy integration? • Environmental policy alone is not enough • Tackle environmental pressures in sectoral policies, e.g. transport, agriculture .. • Recognised e.g. in 5 EAP, CBD • ‘Cardiff Process’
How can policy integration be measured? • IRENA grant agreement sets out 4 different aspects: • Institutional integration • Market integration • Management integration • Monitoring/reporting progress
