Though we are different in some ways, we have one thing in common!
We all love and live for Dung! Umm! Yum Yum
Just remember, lest you judge us harshly,God made us this way. But I want to know, “What is your excuse?” We find that people are a lot like us. Maybe God wants to speak to you through us.
Dung-gate (Neh. 2:13) The original gate existed from the time of the prophet Nehemiah who first mentions it by name: " And I went by the gate of the valley, at night, toward the spring of the serpent and Dung Gate and I saw breaks in the walls of Jerusalem that were breached and the gates consumed with fire".
There are many names for dung in the Bible In Hebrew there are at seven words for dung: peresh – galal – domen – ashpoth – Tsphuwa –dibyown - tsow'ah In Koine Greek there are two words: Ballo - Skubalon
Often In the Old Testament Dung was seen as a defiling element and was used by God as a picture of judgment It defiled – Num. 19:5-8 – Priest had to wash his clothes and body It was a picture of Judgment - II King 9:37Jezebel would be as Dung in the field – Israel Dead would be as dung in the field Jer. 16:4; Zeph 1:17

God’s Attitude Towards The Dung Of This World! Not to value it Not to glory in it Not to pile it up in our home Not to immerse our children in it. But Rather To Discard It Mat 6:33 But seek first the kingdom of God and His righteousness;
God Wants The Dung Out Of The church, Our Homes, and Our lives,
What Happens If We Don’t Remove The Dung? In normal kingdom relationships bi-products are produced that are poisonous. In good service to the Lord we can hurt one another’s feelings, have feelings of jealousy, say stupid things, exclude, etc. Though we a a spiritual body, bi-products of poison are being released.
The body, though wondrous, produces bi- products that are poisonous and disposes of them. If these waste products are not expelled we die.
Non Expelled Dung Produces A Dead Church Rev 3:1 And to the angel of the church in Sardis write: He who has the seven Spirits of God and the seven stars says these things. I know your works, that you have a name that you live, and are dead.
God designed Jerusalem to get rid of its dung. Jerusalem knew what to do with its dung. They dumped it and returned to the city. They didn’t hang out with it, roll it up, play with it. It was a normal part of every day existence but they knew what to do with it.
Just as the city of Jerusalem has a ‘dung gate,’ so does the Body of Christ. “The Gate of Humility” "Lord, how often shall my brother sin against me and I forgive him? Up to seven times?" Jesus said to him, "I do not say to you, up to seven times, but up to seventy times seven." (Mat 18:21-22)
Can Christian People Be Like Dung Beetles? Yes, When we practice self-righteousness. Yes, Every time we seek the things of this world for satisfaction
The World’s Dung (Why do so many collect it?) Isa 55:2 Why do you weigh silver for what is not bread? and your labor for what never satisfies? Listen carefully to Me, and eat what is good, and let your soul delight itself in fatness.
But if God can speak through a donkey he can speak through a dungbeetle
