Your style & purpose guides the design… • Convergence of big ideas in course + big issues in Indian Country • Disciplinary focus • Length, multiple parts? • Format – print, nonprint style ie video • Narrative Point of view • Audience & knowledge base • Teaching preferences
Strategies to get started • Make the title a question • Identify key issues or concepts • Ask whether this would be of interest to others. Where might it be used? • Many design decisions along the way….
