  3. What? What did they do? Who? Who did the activity? Where? Where did this take place? Introduction Why? What was the purpose of the activity? When? When did this happen?

  4. Use time connectives Write about what happened during the activity Write in paragraphs Main Body Write in chronological order Use technical Vocabulary (Wicked Words)

  5. Next Firstly After that Then Meanwhile Time Connectives Later Eventually Finally Can you think of more?

  6. Sum up the visit Say what you enjoyed Concluding Paragraph Recommend others who may enjoy it Say what you learnt

  7. CHALLENGE! • Think about what you did last night or last weekend • Tell a friend about it – remember to answer; Who? Where? What? Why? When? • Share your recount with the class
