The Licenses will be found in the unit. They activate when customers register the product. Easier for the customer and easier for the channel to handle these SKU’s

New customer Customer needs appliance, support and services (2-3 years) E.g Customer wants NSA 3600, 2 year support 24x7 and GAV/IPS 2 year and Content Filtering Total price MSRP Use our Comprehensive Gateway Security Suite bundle (CGSS) for better pricing to end customer. If customer wants two of the licenses bundled in CGSS, always offer the bundle. This will add value to your customer.

  16. HA Deployments Different HA configurations need different combination of SKUs. Please note the following options of High Availability configurations: • Active / Passive, no State Sync • Active / Passive, with State Sync • Active / Active DPI (available for E-class only) • Clustering (available for E-class and SuperMassive only)

HA-solutions Active – Passive , no State Sync • Choose appliance, support and services + duration of services • Add HA-SKU E.g Customer wants a NSA 2400 appliance, 1 year CGSS 1 and a HA appliance Use the following SKU’s No extra license is needed. Support and licenses for the primary appliance cover the secondary appliance.

HA-Solution Active – Passive, with State Sync • Choose appliance, support and services + duration of services • Add HA-SKU • Add State Sync SKU E.g Customer wants a NSA 2400 appliance, CGSS 1 year and a HA appliance with State Sync Combine following SKU’s State Sync is included in the HA-SKUs for NSA 4500/4600 and above. No extra license is needed. Support and licenses for the primary appliance cover the secondary appliance.

HA-Solution Active – Active DPI, with State Sync • Choose E-class appliance, support and services + duration of services • Add HA-SKU E.g Customer wants a NSA E5500 appliance, 1 year CGSS and a HA appliance with State Sync Combine following SKU’s State Sync is included in the HA-SKUs for NSA 4500 and above. No extra license is needed. Support and licenses for the primary appliance cover the secondary appliance.

  20. HA-Solution Clustering When clustering appliances, ALL units need separate licenses and support. Lower HA-pricing does not apply when clustering. • Choose E-class appliance, support and services and duration of services • Choose how many appliances will be clustered • Add licensing to all appliances E.g Customer wants to cluster two NSA E5500 appliances, and run 1 year of CGSS Combine following SKU’s Clustering is only available with E-class NSAs and SuperMassive
