Interview • He wrote formal business letters to existing costumers, quotes on how much a job would cost, and informal emails to other people within his company. • The “big-issue” right now in his business is his customers not wanting to pay the price for the product. So they are having to reduce the price which isn’t leaving his company with much of a profit.

Citation Styles • APA (American Psychological Association) is a popular citation style in academic writings and in the professional community • This style requires that you cite information within the text, instead of citing information in separate footnotes • APA is the most popular style in the business world. • Sometimes Chicago/Turabian is used.

  7. Valued Literacies • All the different fields in business have to work together. Such as accountants, managers, etc.. They all have to rely on each other to accomplish their job correctly, so there’s a mutual respect for the different literacies found in the business world.
