NWT Update • 2005 - Finally fully connected to C4 via 10 MB ubr • 2006 - Moved away from traditional Frame Relay, and have upgraded approx 80% of the Network to MPLS for Government and School WAN connections. 30% of the communities use TDMA Satellite links, remainder are Microwave. Towards the end of 2006, the NWT should be connected to Alberta with Fibre, this should make the C4 connection more reliable. • Currently the only C4 customers are NWT Schools, and Government. The next challenge will be connecting non Government Institutions, and managing H.323 sessions across both networks.
