Reported differences between normalization to gold at thermal and 4.9 eV (maybe related to beam interception factor AND/OR neutron flux of 2011 vs. 2010) obtain normalization from gold @ 200 keV 1.2 Reported difference thermal vs. 5 eV when using TOF or EAST -> check room backg. PLAN: agree on a set of root files to share and compare 1.3 Determination of prompt and delayed neutron background (Neut. Sensitivity) 1.4. Cristian reported on different TOF/EAST ratio for SILI (1.0) and MGAS (0.94)\ 1.5. Agreement (<3%) of B.I.F. from Claudia and Giusepe (52. vs. 53.6) 2. Huge oscillations above ~300 keV (also in FIMG): work on improved analysis routine? (compensation technique!!) 3. DIAM (10B) Is it possible that g-ray and neutron profiles have different centroids? Problem with activation measurement for B.I.F. Threshold? Efficiency?
Open questions & Working plan 4. 241Am with C6D6 Check dead-time correction with lower threshold Conclude on findings fro delayed neutron background 5. 236U with TAC Need to check shape of beam-off background with conditions on mcr and Esum 6. Beam profile B.I.F. changes 10% between thermal and 10 keV. Is this realistic? (simulations…) Trend of B.I.F. surprising. (check something?) BIF(2011)= 1.15xBIF(2010) [Z position has changed? If not, problem!] Extrapolate results from XY-MGAS position to C6D^ and TAC samples positions 6. Res. Function Investigate the possibility to study the C resonance at MeVs (from DIAM) 7. Neutron sensitivity Work ongoing, ut walls and conclusions need to be reached before Christmas
