  1. Processing Heads for Laser Applications are great for use in any type of application. They can be purchased individually or in a package and are typically packaged with other components such as laser power supplies, optics, and software. Standard packages usually include a cooling fan to prevent the laser from damaging the optics, and a tray with ports for screws, clips, and connectors. In addition, some packages will also include a platen with a side notched for laser- etched parts. The lower side of the platen is used for laser cutting. The tray that is used for this process is referred to as a tooling tray, and it is needed to keep parts clean and prevents damage to the finished product during the manufacturing process. In addition, it allows for easier removal of damaged or solidified parts.
