Grades • 90-100% A • 80-89.9% B • 70-79.9% C • 60-69.9% D • 0-59.9% F • Grades are weighted 70% tests and quizzes, 30% practice. This means that it is very important to do all work, study for, and be fully prepared for any tests and quizzes.
Everyday Routine • Line up single file outside, and wait for me to let you in. • Quietly enter room and sit down. • Fill out agenda planner and take out any supplies needed and work to be turned in or corrected.
Everyday Routine • If you were absent, check homework calendar or board for missed assignments and get any handouts or work needed from Mr. Trace.
Everyday Routine • Wait quietly for class to begin. • Stay seated until dismissed by Mr. Trace, not the bell. • Agenda planner needs to be filled out before leaving. • Before leaving, room needs to be clean, PICK UP YOUR MESS, push in chair.

If You Are Absent • If you know you are going to be absent, get work ahead of time and have it ready when you get back. • Check the calendar section of the class web site. • When you return to class, check the homework calendar.
If You Are Absent • If there was work assigned, get a copy from Mr. Trace. • If work was collected, turn it into the absent/late work folders. • This is your responsibility. I will not hunt you down for missing work.

Absent/Make-up Work • If you are absent, you will be given the same amount of days you missed to complete assignments given while you were absent. • Work assigned when you were in class and due when you were absent is due upon your return.
Absent/Make-up Work • You are responsible to make up tests on the day you come back so make sure you study while you are out. • You are usually given about a weeks notice for tests, start studying early.
Late Work Policy • Late work 1 (one) class late, will be given a maximum of 80% (B) of the original points and 50% (F) after that. No late work will be accepted after the unit test for that unit.
Late Work Policy • All assignments need to be turned in to participate in labs. Even if you will get a zero, turn it in. • Students earning a C or less (B for honors) and or missing assignments may be excluded from labs and given alternate assignments until improvement is seen.

Expectations • If you are caught writing on, defacing, altering, or destroying any school property, you will be financially responsible for it and you will lose your lab privileges. • If you are caught chewing gum, your consequence will be scraping gum off of the tables, floors, and chairs.
Expectations • There is no food or drink allowed in class except for water. No Gatorade or Powerade and no food. This class gets ants very easily. • Food or drink during a lab may pose hazards.
