Leverage resources in related areas • More effectively utilize skills and expertise of merged committee membership • Maximize mobilization of initiatives and progress of activities with priority-focused structure • Ensure continuity between pre- and post-subaward related initiatives and activities • Mitigate duplication of effort Why?
Three committee co-chairs will jointly oversee activities of the newly merged committee • Organizational structure to reflect focus in three priority areas around which working groups will be established • Based on member input, the immediate three priority working groups are: • Website group • Template group • FAQ group • Each co-chair will take leadership responsibility for one working group • Priorities will be re-assessed to reflect committee goals and progress • Workgroup co-leaders/members will be recruited/solicited/drafted! New Priority-Focused Structure Work Group Responsibilities Website Group Primary responsibilities: Reorganize structure and content of Subaward/Subrecipient Monitoring page to be more user-friendly and to enhance accessibility to useful, relevant resources Monitor and update content and associated references and links Coordinate with larger FDP website group to ensure continuity throughout FDP site Field questions related to the Subaward/Subrecipient Monitoring webpage
New Priority-Focused Structure Work Group Responsibilities (cont’d) Template Group Primary responsibilities: Monitor and update current Subaward templates and associated attachments Draft and distribute for comment, any new or revised Subaward templates, attachments or associated instructional guidance Research and provide to Subaward/Subrecipient Monitoring Committee Co-Chairs, recommendations for proposed new templates and initiatives Field questions related to the Subaward templates, attachments and associated instructional guidance
