Brief History 1804 – establishment of Diplomatics and Political Economics Department in Kazan State University 1931 - establishment of Kazan State Finance and Economics Institute on the basis of Kazan State University Faculty of Economics. 1992 – establishment of Economic Faculty in Kazan State University 2011 – Kazan State Finance and Economics Institute becomes a structural unit of Kazan Federal University 2014 –Institute of Management and Territorial development + Institute of Finance and Economics = Institute of Management , Economics and Finance
