NIKAO = Overcomer To conquer, prevail, overpower or overcome.
In 1John 4:4 it means past victory over the negative influence of false teaching, leading to further spiritual growth and maturity.
2 Categories of Overcomers1) Every Believer because of Christ’s Victory, 1 John 5:4.

Every believer will be judged by Jesus Christ for the works we have performed while on earth, either with or without the Spirit and Word. 2 Cor 5:10; 1 Cor 3:10-16
2 Cor 5:10, “For we must all appear before the judgment seat of Christ, so that each one may be recompensed for his deeds in the body, according to what he has done, whether good or bad.”

a) Gold - used to represent Deity. Anything that glorifies God. God is glorified by the Spirit-filled life, John 16:12-14.
b) Silver - Redemption. Witnessing in the power of the Spirit.
c) Precious Stones - identification with the family of God via the High Priest. Production through the Word and Spirit, (i.e. the fruit of the Spirit, love, joy, peace, etc.).
Cat. 2Human Good ProductionTemporary things indicating loss, as each is burned up and nothing remains.
a) Wood speaks of man and of good deeds performed from the flesh, (i.e. motivation lust).
b) Hay, an energy source for animals - believers who are only full of human energy, (i.e. constantly glorifying self).
c) Stubble, the leftovers, good things people do out of spite, envy, or hostility.
