Defining a PTA Community Community Type One: A group of schools covering levels K-12, which have common elementary and middle school feeders. Ex: Neuqua Valley High School-Crone Middle School - Patterson, Kendall & Graham Elementary

Defining a PTA Community • Community Type Two: A group of schools who serve students of the same age group and are part of the same school district, PTA council, PTA district or region. Ex: Edison, Monroe, Franklin & Hubble Middle Schools

Getting Started • Taking that first step and agreeing to act as “facilitator” • Reach out to others to set up a time to “collaborate” • Create goals and identify needs of your PTA community • Set follow up meetings based on needs of the group
