Comments from a Missionary • When we arrived at the compound, there was a team from Taylor University in Indiana here doing ministry. They are students studying physical therapy, sports training, and medical professions. So they came for 3 weeks to use the skills and knowledge they have learned thus far in a hands on way. But what was so great was to see them love the people here and really care not just about the physical needs but about them spiritually. When I wasn’t working hard handing out tools and getting Terry and the boys drinks of water, I was able to follow along on a few of the schools, an orphanage, and a mental handicap facility they went to and see them in action as they talked to the kids about how God had made them special. And I do want to confirm that college kids do like to stay up late..... and not get up early! (Believe in Belize Blog Spot, 2013)
