  1. e-Government Organization Approach • When selecting the most appropriate e-Gov organizational model for state of South Africa, we considered the following criteria: • Have enough flexibility to act quickly and competitively in staffing the operation and conducting the procurements necessary to achieve the South Africa’s e-Gov goals and objectives, • Have an effective and accountable e-Government organization that manages its own budget and is empowered with decision-making authority, • focusing on cost efficiency, cost recovery, accountability and transparency.
