OSIN Logon Instructions. Open your Internet Browser (Internet Explorer) Go to public website address: http://www.riss.net Click on the SIGN ON Button. SIGN ON. Type in your RISSNET Portal user id (email 1), password(email 2), and Captcha challenge-response number. And then click SIGN ON.

  1. OSIN Logon Instructions Open your Internet Browser (Internet Explorer) Go to public website address: http://www.riss.net Click on the SIGN ON Button

  2. SIGN ON Type in your RISSNET Portal user id (email 1), password(email 2), and Captcha challenge-response number. And then click SIGN ON fLast@or.hidta.net Note: Be sure to enter the Portal password, NOT the Certificate password. ********** 567737

  3. You will be prompted to choose a digital certificate • Choose your RISS Root Authority certificate and click the OK button.

  4. RISSNET Portal Home page • Near the top-middle of this page click on “Update My Favorites”

  5. Select desired favorite resource On the Left, under “Resource Categories”, mouse-over “External – Law Enforcement Exclusive”, and then on the Right, Scroll down to “Oregon State Intelligence Network (OSIN)” Put a Check In the box of “Add To Favorites”. Now Click the “Update Favorites” and then “Return to Home Page”

  6. You’re returned to the RISSNET Portal Home page • Look for “Oregon State Intelligence Network (OSIN) under My Favorites and Click on that link to open the OSIN Welcome page

  7. OSIN Welcome Page • Fill in user id and password (same as or.hidta.net email), then Click on “I have read, understand, and agree to comply with the above statement.
