The Beauty of Dawn in Shimla It’s 05:30 am in Shimla, and I am in my hotel room’s balcony. With the sun rays peeping out the curtains of clouds, the darkness is fading away. The air smells like redolence and is pleasantly effectuating the body & brain. The stretches of plantations and pine woods seem in leisure mood; swaying rhythmic at their own pace. The mountains are sleepy behind the mist, while the sun’s rays trying to brush aside their laziness.
The birds are like in a music class; singing with mirth and merriment and at their loudest best. The dewdrops are mellowing out and the chirping of sparrows immixing beautifully against the barking of crows. I have fallen in love with the milieu that Shimla was offering at that time.
At morning time in Shimla, the silent beauty of nature can be explored at zenith. The atmosphere on the Mall Road is simply magnetic, offering a refreshing retreat for eyes and senses. Strolling around the plantations and scenic mountainous paths will be a soul-soothing experience. The temples, churches and other religious sanctums offer awe-inspiring spiritual ecstasy.
Shimla, the capital city of Himachal, resembles a piece heaven with its panoramic views of mountains and fascinating plantations & orchards. The city is regarded as the ‘Queen of Hills’ and is one of the most sought after tourist destinations in North India.
