  3. History • In Oman there was a war from 1965 to 1976. • Sultan was removed by his son, the son Qaboos made a deal to end the war. • He exported oil, and the money from that helped the Omani people get out of poverty.

  4. Dates • Omanis do not date like people in America. • Omanis have to ask there president to date anther person out of their country. • they date secretly.

  5. Language • The Omani citizens speak Arabic. • Many Omani also speak English, Baluch, Swahili, Urdu, or various Indian dialects.

  6. Geography • Oman is 212,460 sq km • It is smaller then Kansas • The terrain is central desert plains with rugged mountains in the north and south.
