Rocket Works Sound Effects • You must create your own far out sound effects. • Set up a microphone and speaker • Get a bunch of contraptions that make sounds. • Use Audio Recorder to record short, (less than 5 second) sound clips from the contraptions or from you and your team mates mouthing off. • Edit the sound effects by deleting bad sections, contorting the sounds or adding sections. • Play the sounds clip from Audio Recorder and record the sound effects in Scratch sprites. www.build-it-yourself.com
Rocket Works Logic and Programming • Make a character move across the screen when you press the right arrow. • Import a background. • Make a character say “Hey there” when it gets to the middle of the screen. • Make a character move right, left, up, or down when you press the arrow keys. • Add a second character and make the two characters have a dialog when the first character comes close to the second character. • Animate the characters. • Create two scenes and move back and forth between the scenes. www.build-it-yourself.com
