Early Life • Albert was born February 22,1930 in Hampton, Virginia. Albert wrote his first paper when he was 18 (on mathematical biology). One year later, (1949) he earned a Ph.D. in Mathematical Biology from the University of Iowa.
Civil rights leader • Albert was a civil rights leader for the 1965 Voting Rights from Salem to Montgomery, Alabama. He was a part of Martin Luther King’s funeral. It was his job to lead the mule that carried Martin’s body.
Death • Turner died in Selma, Alabama on April 13, 2000. He was great because he wrote many books on algebra and different types of math.
