  4. MAXILLARY NERVE • IS DIVIDED INTO FOUR BRANCHES • Zygomatic • Infraorbital • Posterior Superior Alveolar • Pterygopalatine Is a sensory nerve.

  5. Maxillary Nerve Branch Zygomatic Nerve Supplies Area around the eye Behind the Zygomatic arch (cheek bone)

  6. Maxillary Nerve Branch INFRORBITAL NERVE SUPPLIES Side walls of the Max. Sinus Gingiva Mesialbuccal root of the fist molar and bicuspids Cuspids Laterals Centrals

  7. Maxillary Nerve Branch Posterior Superior Alveolar Nerve Supplies Gingiva Maxillary Sinus Cheeks Maxillary molars (except the mesialbuccal root of 1st molar)

  8. Mandibular Nerve Branch • Is the Largest Division of the Trigeminal Nerve • Has both sensory and motor neurons • Is divided into three branches * Buccal * Lingual * Inferior Alveolar
