Good News from Wellington We had a very successful holiday club during the summer, over 40 youngster’s attended. Our Sunday J team is growing. We had 2 very successful church lunches to say goodbye and good luck to Peter and Sue and to welcome to Graham and Christine. Our youngster’s got good grades in their exams and are off to University.
Good News from Shifnal The Wednesday coffee morning is thriving and a special was held to replenish the kitchen cutlery. Some of the folk spilled out of the front door to enjoy their refreshments in the glorious sunshine.
Good News from Dawley We had an active ‘Holiday at Home’ during the summer, visiting China, India, Africa and USA as well a coach trip to the National Memorial Arboretum and Lichfield Cathedral. Food is being collected and distributed in association with St Vincent de Paul Society. Thanks go to all those who have donated to this, with a special mention to St Georges Primary School who today have brought about 50 carrier bags of tinned food from their harvest celebration.
