Partner Universities • IBMS / FEM partner universities: • Information: see list on SharePoint • Selection partner universities: OnStage (‘vacancies’) • ‘Popular countries’: 56 EC average year 1& first semester year 2 = US, Canada, UK, Australia Only 2 ‘popular countries’ in Top 3 (5) • Language of instruction
Partner Universities Before you take your final decision: • Check if university abroad offers the courses you would like / have to take. Courses cannot overlap more than 20% with HU IBMS courses • If you want to study for one year at two different universities: check semester planning!! You have to open two dossiers in OnStage
IBMSStudy Abroad Enrolment 1 December 2017 – 31 January 2018
Selection • Criteria: At least 55 EC’s in your first year, number of credit points (year 1 + semester 1, year 2), grades, motivation, language skills • Ranking (Osiris) • First round selection February 2018 • Second round selection April 2018 • Final Placement: May/June 2018 • Later selection: individual, limited choice
IBMS: Courses Abroad • Semester 1 or 2: Study Abroad Minor (30 EC) • Semester 1 or 2: Obligatory courses (30 EC) • Select minor/obligatory courses • Fill in (Erasmus/Non –Erasmus) Learning Agreement and get approval from Study Abroad coordinator • Request Exam Board approval for your courses • Minor courses should not have more than 20% overlap with regular IBMS courses
While you are abroad • Change of courses: Study Abroad Coordinator and Exam Board approval. New Exam Board request • Contact by mail with IO, IBMS coordinator, Exam Board
When you are back • Transcript results abroad • Osiris: exemptions (30 EC minor, 30 EC obligatory courses) • Missing credit points: Main phase coach • Evaluation IO
