Actions carried out for Strengthening External Funding • Developed the preliminary Strategic Plan for Strengthening External Funding and presented it to the Permanent Council on February 14th, 2018 • Permanent Council agreed to refer the Strategic Plan to the Working Group for Institutional Strengthening • Donor Roundtables have been carried in order to present the Work Plans and Projects of the different Secretariats • The Permanent Observer Missions of the Netherlands and Japan have organized meetings in order to promote the Organization’s work with other Observers • Strengthening of the OAS’ strategic alliance with the European Union (EU) through High Level Dialogues and Meetings with the European External Action Service (EEAS) • Bilateral meetings between Permanent Observers and OAS technical areas, Secretary General, Assistant Secretary General, and Directors • Established the Donor Relations Committee made up by Senior Staff from different Secretariats • Began implementation of a Communications Strategy in order to give Permanent Observers more visibility through our Website: http://www.oas.org/en/media_center/press_release.asp?sCodigo=E-097/18
