WELCOME PARENTS Meeting Objectives • Meet the coaches • Introduce Ogden sports website • Review IHSA physical exam requirements • Explain student athlete weekly reports • Discuss varsity financial obligations • Introduce booster club • Meet the other parents

OGDEN SPORTS WEBSITE • Access the Ogden Sports website by going to the www.OgdenSchool.org • Choose “Sports” in the left column • Find all schedules, weekly calendar, announcements and downloadable forms
IHSA PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS • Every athlete is required to turn in a physical exam form issued by a physician, physician’s assistant or nurse practitioner every year. • Find the physicalexam form on theOgden Sportswebsite under Downloadable Forms.
STUDENT ATHLETE WEEKLY REPORT • All student athletes are required to have their teachers fill out the weekly report every Friday. • Reports must be turned in to the Coach the following Monday. • Requirements of each student athlete: • C average or better • Be on time to class • Good behavior • Noncompliance with these requirements will result in a meeting with the teacher, student and coach to develop a plan on how to meet the requirements. • If the plan is not followed, they will be removed from the team until they can meet the requirements.
FINANCIAL OBLIGATIONS $50 varsity fee • All varsity athletes are required to pay a $50 participation fee to supplement the cost of buses, uniforms and referees • Due immediately • Cash or check to The Ogden International School of Chicago
SIGN UP FOR THE OGDEN BOOSTER CLUB! What is the Ogden Booster Club? • The Booster Club is a group of individuals that are willing to assist with various Ogden sporting events. • By joining the Booster Club, Ogden will have your contact information and will call upon you when needed. • Potential Booster Club activities: • Car pool • Crowd control • T-shirt sales • Food sales • Fundraising • Etc…
