Be on the look out. Five agents of erosion are on the loose. The agents of erosion take pieces of rock and soil called sediment from where they belong and move them to other places. Without permission!. Sometimes they move the sediment very slowly, so no one will notice.

Sometimes they move the sediment very slowly, so no one will notice.
Sometimes they move a lot at once, too fast for anyone to stop them.
The five agents have very clever disguises, so pay close attention. They are . . .
GRAVITY The hardest to see.
WIND Likes to hang out in deserts.
WAVES Last seen at the beach.
ICE (a.k.a. GLACIERS) The slowest of the bunch.
RUNNING WATER The most powerful of them all.
These agents of erosion have been changing the way the surface of Earth looks for billions of years. Not even mountains can stop them!
Keep a close watch and you will find evidence of where they’ve been. You’ve been warned!
