  2. MLA Format • When you are putting a paper in MLA it needs to have the following • 1 inch margins • Page Numbers in the top right hand corner with you last name • An MLA header • Double spaced • Size 12 font times new roman • There is a web link that will help more with this.

  3. MLA Citation • Lastly, you will need to have a works cited page • Most of you will be using Newspapers, but let’s review the others. • You will also get a sheet to help you. • This will be a thing we keep in our binders after we clean them.

  4. Citing a Book • Author. Title of Book. City of Publication: Publisher, Year. Type of Material. • Example: • Hasselhoff, David. Don’t Hassel the Hoff: The Autobiography. New York: Thomas Dunne Books, 2007. Print.

  5. Citing a Magazine Article • Author. "Title of Article." Title of Magazine Date: Page(s). Type of Material. • Example: • Adams, Grizzly. “Manliest Mustaches: General Ambrose Burnside.” American Breads 4 Nov. 2007: 4. Print.

  6. Citing a Scholarly Journal Article • Author. "Title of Article." Title of Journal Volume number.Issue number (Year): Pages. Type of Material. • Example: • Van Damme, Jean-Claude. “Why Street Fighter is the Best Movie Ever.” Contemporary Studies in Kung Fu Movies 3.3 (2007): 50-60. Print.
