  2. The Focus The focus of our website is that it goes through the different categories of the weather, atmosphere, land erosion, the properties of soil and every other category involving earth. This is relevant to our study of soil because it goes through why the ground beneath our feet is so important to us.

  3. Soil Moisture and Drought Soil moisture is important because its helps prevent summer droughts.

  4. Mount St. Helens Mt. St. Helens is a volcano in Washington state. It has been dormant since 1857. But on May 1980, it erupted and blew the top off the mountain killing 60 people and destroying all life within 70 miles. The mountain elevation from 2950 to 2549. Because of the eruption the large radius of the affected area was covered in ash providing nutrients needed for the rebirth of life after the massive destruction.
