WORLD • In 2005, over 1.200 community foundations have been identified in 46 countries with 154 additional community foundations identified as being in formation. • US 700, Canada 150, Mexico 19, UK 55, Germany 100. • 40% of CFs globally exist outside of the US. • Germany and Australia show the greatest growth in numbers. • CFs are becoming global movement that is increasingly interconnected, CFs impact worldwide increases, along with their resources.
