  1. Anil Potti Received His MBBS Degree From CMC, Vellore, India

  2. Anil Potti was born in 1972 at Hyderabad in India. He studied at St. Patrick's High School which is located at Secunderabad in India. The school is a Catholic educational establishment that was established by Fr. H. Colli in 1911. It aims at providing top-class education to the local Catholic boys. Besides this, students of other faiths can also take admission in this school.

In the early days, the school only admitted boys having fairer complexion and the main reason behind this was that the schools administration wanted to admit only such student who mixed easily with Anglo Indians and Europeans. The school's motto is Virtus Et Labor, the Latin words which mean virtue and hard work.

  4. Later in 1987, Anil Potti enrolled at LFJ College, Secunderabad, India from where he attained his undergraduate degree with Physics, Chemistry and Biology being his major subjects. Thereafter, he studied at Christian Medical College & Hospital, Vellore, India from where he received his MBBS (Bachelor of Medicine & Surgery) degree.

  5. CMCH Vellore is ranked as the 2nd top medical college in India after AIIMS. It is counted amongst one of the largest medical centers in India that is almost a century-old Christian institution that was founded by Ida S. Scudder. It is located in the southern state of Tamil Nadu, India.

  6. At present, Anil Potti is a citizen of the United States of America. In 1996, he commenced his residency training at the department of Internal Medicine in University of North Dakota (UND) School of Medicine, Fargo, North Dakota.

  7. In 1999, he was appointed as the Chief Resident at Internal Medicine in UND School of Medicine and Health Sciences. He also served the Department of Medicine at the UND School of Medicine and Health Sciences as an Assistant Professor.
