  1. NASK GENERAL MEETING “He who fails to plan plans to fail”. This was the watch word of the Nigerian Association of Shotokan Karate (NASK). The year started with a NASK general meeting on Saturday January 15, 2011. The meeting, which lasted for about 2 hours was successful. The meeting was later adjourned to Saturday January 29, 2011 to enable for proper planning of NASK events, calendar and activities for the year 2011. GRADING Though the calendar of NASK for the year 2011 is not fully ready, the first NASK quarterly course and grading for the year 2011 has been scheduled to hold on Saturday February 19, 2011 at the American International School, V/Island. The forms have already been sent out to all via email. Instructors are advised to check their email boxes and ensure the deadline (Wednesday February 9, 2011) is taking seriously. CONDOLENCE NASK sympathizes with the family of Wilcox on the death of Mr. Tonye Wilcox. Mr. Tonye until his death was a member of NASK. May his gentle soul rest in perfect peace. May God grant his family members and all close to him the fortitude to bear the loss. Amen. Please send in information about your dojo, members of your dojo, celebrations like birth days, weddings, good tidings, child birth, etc to the admin secretary or to naskarate_555@yahoo.com for publication in the newsletter.
