ANITA SANKARAN -The Chartis Group The Chartis Group is a national advisory services firm that provides strategic and economic planning, value-based care, clinical transformation and information technology consulting services and decision support tools to the country's leading healthcare providers. Like our clients, we're out to improve healthcare delivery. Anita Sankaran worked as senior consultant for The Chartis Group, where she focused on patient access, ambulatory growth, and patient care delivery strategies, as well as operations improvement for clinical practices and hospitals.

  3. Strategic and Operational Engagements: - Developed ambulatory growth and faculty recruitment plans for new ambulatory care site; redesigned the scheduling, patient flow, and capacity management processes of the cardiac center to accommodate increasing demand for services and a planned facility expansion for a leading children's hospital - Developed a patient care delivery model to improve operations, including care team configurations, nurse staffing, reporting and rounding processes, for a 600 bed Academic Medical Center (AMC)

  4. Led senior leadership in a comprehensive assessment and redesign of all patient entry, direct admissions, throughput, and discharge processes, for a 400 bed regional hospital Applied Research Engagements: • Led due diligence process for a private equity investment in a patient satisfaction survey company - Conducted a research study for a $50B pharmaceutical company to prove that, accounting for true therapeutic innovation, the cost per unit of drugs over time has increased at the rate of inflation

  5. Firm and Growth Development: - Fourth person recruited into the firm; Contributed to growing firm to 40+ people - Led multiple firm development activities, including recruiting, review process and product development - Led firm training sessions focused on care delivery models, patient access and capacity management
