  2. In Poland in each municipality we have a Municipality Social Welfare Centre that takes care of underprivileged families from its area. We asked a couple of those social welfare centers to select the poorest families from their databases and to ask the kids to write a letter to Santa Claus asking for a specific gift for Christmas, with a drawing attached. So we received 50 letter from kids. Some were asking for new Lego set, some for a specific Barbie doll, sometimes asking for winter shoes.

  3. Then we created a webpage where you could read letters, select a specific kid, and pay for a specific gift. For example you choose Żaneta, age 11, that asks Santa for an mp3 player as well as some coloured pencils called „bambino” and you pay for that gifts. You are a Santa that is buying her a gift.

  5. This way, within two weeks we received almost 1500 euro. For this money we bought requested gifts, we added some sweets and fruits and on a Christmas eve, on the 24th of December, we've split in three teams and went to each and every family to give out presents the kids asked for. As letters were to Santa Claus we dressed up like Santas and, of course, we were repeating all the time: Ho, Ho, Ho! Merry Christmas!
