Logic Model for Planning and Evaluating PD Documents inputs and activities, and the initial, intermediate and intended outcomes that will accomplish the identified goal. Detailed analysis of professional development activities supports success in reaching intended outcomes. Benchmarking evidence for initial and intermediate outcomes will lead to the intended results.
Logic Model Components Inputs: Resources including materials, presenters,facilities,equipment,etc. Activities: Presentations,workshops,webinars,modules,etc. Initial outcomes: Shifts in knowledge and skills as a result of early activities. Intermediate outcomes: Changes in attitudes, aspirations, and behavior and practices Intended Results: Impact on teacher/administrator practice and eventually, on student learning
Review, Analyze, Discuss As a team, • Review your PD plan (Logic Model) created during the Fall Fidelity. • Identify your accomplishments and areas of focus since Fall Fidelity. • How do you know that they were successful or not? • What data do you have that supports your findings? • Identify the quadrant that aligns with your accomplishments using the Leadership and Learning Matrix.
Review, Analyze, Discuss • Discuss how you can sustain your accomplishments and address areas of needs. • Determine next steps and add to your plan • What types of data will you need to collect? • What tools will you use to collect the data? • Upload your work here so others may view to utilize to enhance their plans or collegial conversations
