Adjectives An adjective can come before the noun it describes. Example: Wolves often live in snowy places. Snowy is the adjective. It describes places.
Adjectives Adjectives can also follow a verb such as is or seems. Example: The leader of the pack is smart. Smart is the adjective. It describes the leader of the pack.
