Installing a single Dreamscreen. Set unit in place and attach with 2 ½ “ screw. Do not tighten the screw yet, tighten just enough to keep from falling. Insert silver track clip into the jamb. It fits between the magnet and the jamb. Put one at each end.

  1. Installing a single Dreamscreen

  2. Set unit in place and attach with 2 ½ “ screw. Do not tighten the screw yet, tighten just enough to keep from falling.

  3. Insert silver track clip into the jamb. It fits between the magnet and the jamb.Put one at each end.

  4. Stand the jamb upright on opposite side, attach with one screw. • There are 5 screw holes in the jamb. Put a screw in the middle hole only to start. This way if you have to move the jamb, you only have to patch one hole.

  5. Measure from the housing to the jamb Housing Jamb

  6. Make sure the measurement is the same top and bottom Add 1/8” to this measurement Housing Jamb

  7. Magnet is recessed 1/8”

  8. Prepare your tracks Notice the stickers

  10. Line up the ‘do not cut’ ends

  11. Measure and Mark

  12. Make the cut Cut both tracks together to make them the same size

  13. Slide top track through end cap

  14. Through the cap, onto the clip

  15. Snug against housing

  16. Fit onto clip on the jamb side You may need to remove that single screw for this.

  17. Make sure track reaches magnet

  18. Repeat on the bottom

  19. Flush to the housing Bottom screw, not yet tight

  20. Fit jamb side same as the topmake sure track reaches magnet

  21. Make sure unit is square!Make adjustment if necessary Once it’s squared, tighten bottom and top screw.

  22. Add screws to the jamb

  23. Lubricate the trackssimply spray where the plastic meets the metal Use pure clear silicone spray…..never use WD-40

  24. Cycle the door once or twice

  25. That’s it! You have installed a Dreamscreen!
