You have a personal brand essence today • Fact: you already have a personal brand. • Is it strong or weak? • Three characteristics of a strong brand • Unique (what can I do, be, or own that no one else can) • Relevant (impactful emotionally and rationally to people I care about) • Consistent (over time, brands either strengthen or deteriorate - Billy Graham v Tiger Woods) • Brand Strength ≠ Everyone likes me. • Know what you stand for • Know what you will NOT stand for.

  18. Action Suggestions • Personal Brand Essence is not a “one-and-done” exercise. Good brands evolve and strengthen over time. • Set aside time annually to review your personal brand essence • Review your brand essence with someone you care about and trust • Consider creating two Brand Essence Wheels • One professional and one personal. • Wheels must be compatible. • Use 360 feedback to understand your current brand essence. • Use prayer, focus, and meditation to develop your future brand essence. • Become the brand God wants you to be.
