Benelux Council formed on aug. 31, 2006 • buildingSMART Chapter officially registered on November 2nd, 2007 • Nov. 13 - 2008: new board selected by members: • Chair: Wubbo Hazewinkel (Architect – 3D Blueprint) • Secretary: Henk van Zeeland (Architect – IRIS CIS) • 2nd Chair: Joost Wijnen (Cadvisual) • ITM: Prof. Bauke de Vries (Eindhoven University) • IFD: Radboud Baayen (STABU) • Business manager: Gerrie Mühren (PSIBouw) • 44 members (+5) confirmed (invoiced) • IOS: Initiative Group Open Standards: 22 members hopefully will join BuildingSMART chapter ;-) • Projects/events: • Participation in Dutch Building Information Council • Harmonizing Dutch initiatives COINS (object information) and VISI (management information) in IDM-NL • Harmonizing objectlibraries ETIM, (HVAC) CHEOBS (roads) and IFD Library for buildingSMART in IFD-NL • SL-Plaza: Official IFC-BIM project promoted & sponsored by PSIBouw (EliteCAD & Tekla & DDS & Riuska + 4D) • National seminar around BIM: February 2011, organized by Dutch Building Information Council • NEW BIMcaseweek 2010: February 8 -11: www.bimcaseweek.nl • TNO & TU/eindhoven: BIM-server development project: www.bimserver.org • SBR: Open source model server development project, three year project 2009-2012 SL-plaza Amsterdam 23.000m2 IFC-BIM (…) BuildingSMART Benelux Chapter IC - Status Report – Sept.09 - Copenhagen
