Frankenstein Requirements • Vocabulary Log (at least 30 words) • KWL chart • Chapter Presentations (3) including notes and activities • Chapter Questions
Vocabulary Log • As you read you will come across many words you are not familiar with. Your job is to create a list of those words with the definitions of each. You will also include the page number in which you found the word. You must have at least 30 words total from the three chapters you are assigned.
KWL • As you are reading you will create a KWL chart. You must have, at the end of the novel, at least twenty K’s, fifteen W’s, and fifteen L’s.
Chapter Presentations • Each group will be assigned three chapters. After you read the chapters, you must devise a plan for teaching the chapters. You will create a powerpoint, game, visual, or handout for your chapter. In addition, you will present or teach the chapter to the rest of the class. You should include characters, plot, and literary devices (symbols, foreshadowing, etc) in your presentation.
