  7. To hope is to trust before. It is to come into agreement with God’s heart before anything has occurred.

  9. You were included • when you heard • having believed • marked in Him with a seal • the promised Holy Spirit.

  10. We have not received the spirit of the world but the Spirit who is from God, that we may understand what God has freely given us. This is what we speak, not in words taught us by human wisdom but in words taught by the Spirit, expressing spiritual truths in spiritual words. 1 Corinthians 2.12-14

  11. “Seal” means –*security (Matt. 27:66; Eph. 4:30)*authentication and approval (John 6:27)*certification of genuineness (John 3:33)*identification of ownership (2 Cor. 1:22; Rev. 7:2; 9:4).

  12. *God is the One who seals.*Christ is the sphere in which the sealis done.*The Holy Spirit is the instrument of the seal.

  13. How do I know if I have been sealed? The Spirit himself testifies with our spirit that we are God's children.” Romans 8.16
