Cross Border • What happens when you combine experience, subject matter, and different countries? • Not simply comparative – integrative • Cases with alliances are great context for getting at this subject regardless of functional area – OB to Accounting!
Your Personal Internationalization Roadmap • Experience • Read widely in magazines like the Economist & WSJ Regional Editions • Travel • Study or work abroad • Subject Matter • Know the “border” conditions on your “local” knowledge • How is the function approched differently in other countries? • Country • Read Culture-Grams about the countries that non-domestic case parties come from • Cross Border • Synthesize all of the above!
