Brazil - Training and Tutoring FeedbackSecond Coordination Meeting Remarks: • Sharing of the training A new process is being developed by the NRA for the adequate sharing / transferring the knowledge received by the trainees • Relevance of the training The training obtained is and important tool for the improvement of regulatory activities (fire protection area, safety analysis, project modifications, surveillance modifications, control of the radiation monitoring programme) related to the licensing process of NPPs, Research and Test Reactors. Modification of existing procedures for data collection of operational experience overview. Improvement in the PSA Safety Review, PSA Application Analysis. Resident inspection activities as on-site regulatory inspections and the inspection programme have been improved.
Brazil - Training and Tutoring FeedbackSecond Coordination Meeting Conclusions: • It should be stated that the opportunity and possibility of the overseas training and tutoring, allows the country to fill in existing knowledge gaps, develop a common understanding, knowledge and sense; to develop a networking, work contacts and cooperation among trainees; maintaining a state of the art knowledge, enhancing the efficiency of the existing regulatory processes, resulting in the improvement of safety.
