Background Information • Name: Caitlin Marguerite Rink • Or Ms. Rink to you boys and girls. • Born: August 7, 1989 • I am 21 years old. • Major: Elementary Education (Special Education Endorsement) • Attended Plainfield Schools K-12 • Except for the second grade, I lived in Utah during that time. • Received an Associates Degree from Joliet Junior College before transferring to USF

Personal Information • Hobbies: Going to the movies, volleyball, playing with my two year old niece Chloe • Things I am Good At: Scrabble, Gin (card game), Seek & Find Games • Favorite Subject: Social Studies • Other: I am allergic to kumquat. • Kumquat is a fruit! This is Chloe as a baby. -----

  5. Teaching Experience • Before I came to Farragut, I worked with other students. I completed forty five observation hours for JJC. This counted as my Beginning Field Experience. • Do any of you know where Plainfield is? Most of the students I worked with lived in Plainfield. • I spent most of my time in a 5th grade classroom. • I also helped students with special needs prepare for jobs after high school.

Classroom Expectations • The purpose of me being here is: • So that I can learn from your teacher Ms. Kalicki, and from you, the students in her classroom. • It gives me a chance to practice teaching. You boys and girls are going to help me be able to teach the next class of first graders. My goals are: • To understand how you guys work. • Be able to help you learn as a community. • Find out what works best for me as a teacher.

Classroom Expectations • My Plan and My Expectations: • I plan to help all of you learn, I will always be willing to help you. • I plan to learn from you, you will all be helping me become a better teacher. • I expect everyone in this room to respect their peers and respect me. I will do the same. • I expect that this Spring we will have a lot of fun while learning!
