  1. Beat bullying, NOW. By Chris & Zac

  2. What do they do..? • Beat bullying is the UK's leading anti-bullying charity and has been UK Charity of the Year for 2 years running. beat bullying aims to reduce and prevent the incidence and impact of bullying, (physical, emotional, verbal, genderised, racist, inter-faith, homophobic) between young people. By implementing and managing borough based, youth lead anti-bullying campaigns, organising seminars, training courses and conferences for young people and professionals, and providing professionals with comprehensive anti-bullying tool kits, beat bullying raises awareness of bullying across the UK, in order that action may be taken. We are the UK's first children's charity to devise anti-bullying strategies for young people by young people. We strongly believe that young people have the ability to shape society - a society in which bullying is unacceptable.

  3. Why do Chris & Zac find this interesting? Zac & Chris find this interesting, because being at school, is not a walk in the park. And some people have to deal with bullies. This could become so unbearable, that some children/ teenagers end up turning to suicide. Committing suicide is a terrible thing to deal with. But if ‘beat bullying’ can help, then things can be sorted out for the better.

  4. What's in it for you? • By supporting beat bullying you are making a difference to the millions of young people whose lives are affected by bullying. You can help raise awareness of bullying in your local area, and help your local school, youth group or community organisation reduce the problem and its effect on young people.

  5. Where we work? • Beat bullying provides on the ground anti-bullying support and workshops for schools all across the UK. We are based in South London, and we provide 32 London Boroughs, and therefore a minimum of 272, 000 London Children, with best practice anti-bullying models agreed by and co-designed by local schools, youth groups and community organisations. beat bullying also provides anti-bullying training and tool kits to the professionals working in a minimum of 320 agencies across London. Furthermore, through our website, we are able to offer information and resources to every child and school in the UK.

  6. How can you help support us? • There are many ways in which you can support beat bullying. You can set up a regular donation or make a one-off gift, or you can get involved in fundraising events in your local area. You can set up or take part in anti-bullying activities, and keep an eye out for our ongoing campaigns. Or give a major donation? =]

  7. Types of bullying. • Sexist • Sexual • Physical • Verbal • Mental • Physiological • Racism

  8. Posters. We are working on a variety of posters but we need some financial backing, the posters would make people more awear of bully's.

  9. Where would your money go? • Posters. • Adverts. • Workers. • Call centres. • Children's days out. • Clubs. • Awareness of bullying.

  10. What would £4000 do? 40,000 Posters 800 hours work for 5 call centre workers.

  11. Where are the hotspots for bullying? School, Home, Work, Out and about, Anywhere really.

  12. The Last Resort • Some children, are being so bullied, that take the last resort: suicide. This is quite a rare case, but it still happens. With help from “Beat Bullying” this can stop. “Beat Bullying” feels very strongly about children committing suicide, as it is disgusting that people can reach that stage.
