How is a competition run? • Four different races: 125cc, 250cc, 500cc, 990cc • Each race uses a different kind of bike • Race starts when the red light goes off • Different color flags are waved to regulate the race • Race ends when the first rider passes the checkered flag
What are some of the rules of the sport? • Only team members are allowed in the pits and in team colors • Bikes must have a rear wheel dirt deflector • Rider’s number must be visible • Each rider is allowed two bikes on race day
